Cookie policy
Last updated: July 2026.
This policy explains the small files and browser storage we use when you visit Double Glazing Deals. We keep them to a minimum: we do not currently use advertising or profiling cookies from third parties on this site.
Strictly necessary and marketing attribution
When you land on the site we set first-party wml_* cookies (and matching entries in your browser’s local storage) to remember which advert or campaign brought you here. This lets us attribute an enquiry to the right marketing source if you go on to submit the form. These are first-party only — they are set by this website, not shared for third-party advertising — and they expire 90 days after your visit.
| Cookie | Purpose | Expiry |
|---|---|---|
wml_utm_source, wml_utm_medium, wml_utm_campaign, wml_utm_term, wml_utm_content | Store the UTM campaign values from the link you arrived on, for marketing attribution. | 90 days |
wml_gclid, wml_fbc, wml_fbp and similar | Store advertising click identifiers (for example Google and Meta) so an enquiry can be attributed to the advert that generated it. | 90 days |
wml_landing_url | Remembers the first page you landed on, sent with your enquiry. | 90 days |
Analytics and tag manager (when enabled)
We may later enable Google Tag Manager and analytics tags. When we do, those tags can set their own cookies — typically Google Analytics cookies such as _ga and _ga_XXXXXXX (used to tell visits apart, usually lasting up to two years) — and this policy will be updated to list them before they go live. Until then, no such cookies are set.
Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings, and clear local storage the same way. Blocking the wml_* cookies will not stop the site working or prevent you submitting the form — it only means we may not be able to attribute your enquiry to a marketing source.
For how we handle the personal details you submit, see our privacy policy.
